Summer Science Camp

Since 2005, Blue Sky Meadow Summer Science Camp has provided a memorable, life-enhancing experience for youth entering the sixth and seventh grades. In addition to having fun, participants learn important lessons in science and teamwork through nature hikes, examination of animal habitats and ecosystems, botany, fire ecology, meteorology, geology, and astronomy. The program is conducted by trained naturalists and visiting teachers.

Thanks to support from the Los Angeles Times Family Fund, other foundations and local companies, Blue Sky Meadow Summer Science Camp offers scholarship support for young people from low-income families.
